From the North

M6 junction, join A66 towards Brough, take the Appleby turn-off, turn right immediately, follow the road for half a mile, turn left just after Appleby Manor Hotel.

From the East

A1 (Scotch Corner), follow A66 towards Penrith, take Appleby turn-off, follow road for two thirds of a mile, first right, second left, follow the road for one quarter of a mile, turn right just before Appleby Manor Hotel.

From the South

M6 Junction 38, take B6260 to Appleby, drive through the town to T junction, turn left, first right and follow the road for two thirds of a mile.
